Lester S. Fuwa has more then 28 years of tax consulting experience. Prior to joining U.S. Tax Advantage, LLC Lester was a Partner with Ernst & Young for fourteen years focused on assisting multi-national companies with their export/manufacturing incentives, foreign tax credit planning strategies around managing foreign country tax, foreign tax credit utilization in the U.S., and IRS examination.
Lester has significant experience in experience in assisting clients achieve the most tax benefits allowable in the areas of export incentives, domestic manufacturing deductions, and foreign tax credit utilization. His technical expertise includes sourcing of expenses under 1.861-8, FSC/ETI/Section 199 calculations, FTC Utilization, CFC Netting, E&P, Subpart F, and Repatriation. He also models the tax impact of acquisitions, dispositions, and restructuring.
Lester is a multi-disciplined professional in both tax and technology with extensive experience in automating international tax planning, compliance, and audit processes.
Lester is a frequent speaker at the RIA User Conference, Association of Computers and Taxation, Tax Executives Institute, and Ernst & Young sponsored seminars.
Lester is a CPA and holds an MBA from Dalhousie University (Nova Scotia, Canada).
